Bodega Chakana was founded in 2002, aiming at producing authentic wines expressing the identity and nature of its soils. Chakana is located in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo (Mendoza), where it owns 80 hectares of vineyards with organic and biodynamic certification. It also owns estates in: Paraje Altamira (Valle de Uco) called Ayni and Los Cedros.
Continuous investigation of the soil and terroir, agroecological viticulture and minimal intervention enology define Chakana’s philosophy.
The Open IT consulting team revealed issues for the client in terms of obsolete technology in servers and micro informatics devices, external attack security risks (backup policies, antivirus) and issues in terms of service management (documentation, scheduled maintenance, etc.)
The winery had access to our IaaS/PaaS cloud services to ensure core services.
The ERP was migrated to the cloud and was deleted from the local server.
The Antivirus service was centralized through the implementation of a cloud console and antivirus in all devices.
The IT infrastructure re-engineering was carried out, migrating the ERP system to our cloud services, ensuring the access, strengthening security measures (console antivirus #ESET), monitoring and backup, interacting with suppliers and users until the solution was 100% operative and had the corresponding management and support services.

Distrillantas is a leading company in tires, accessories and tire repair services.
They are authorized distributor of Dunlop tires and also have a good stock of original and sports tires.
They currently have five points of sale in the City of Buenos Aires, and in the north and west of Greater Buenos Aires. Wholesale offices with shipping across the country, their own warehouses and fleet to deliver goods, and an exclusive center to serve policyholders.
Since its origins, the company has always been committed to render the best service, in terms of quality and swiftness. Therefore, today, it is one of the most important tire distributors in Argentina.
The #Cybersecurity consulting team assisted the company Distrillantas with an incident due to some Ransomware which made it impossible to use their productive server.
IT Infrastructure Re-engineering was carried out.
The management system was migrated to our cloud services.
The access points were ensured by strengthening the security, monitoring and backup measures, interacting with suppliers and users until the solution was 100% operative and had the corresponding management and support services.

In a pandemic context, our operations team surveyed the issues the company faced to be able to work from home in a safe and collaborative way without the need to access to devices located in its commercial offices.
GM Advisors requested an action plan to re-engineer their way of working to transform it into a digital, collaborative and 100% remote work scheme.
At Open IT, we considered that the most convenient solution for the company was to have access to our professional services to migrate their email service to MS365 and their information from a local File Server to MS Sharepoint in order to have accessible and collaborative information in the cloud integrated with the Microsoft 365 implementation.
Today they work 100% remotely with all the advantages stemming from this scheme adapted to our “new normality”.
